On Something about Grilled bread......
Theres just something about grilled bread that i find so intriguing. I love how it takes on a slight smoky flavor and light charring. It accentuates and brings forth anything you pair it with. One thing i enjoy doing is breaking the grilled bread into bite size pieces and then tossing them in a salad or using them as garnish in bowls of stewed mussels, clams,or soups. For the most part hearty crusty breads respond very well to grilling. Any artisan sourdough loves, olive or cheese studded bread taste a lot better after spending some time on the grill. Just make sure to have a good bottle of Extra virgin olive oil and some fine sea salt when attempting to char some bread.
